
When reinstalling Windows, due to an interruption during installation or due to a wrong move somewhere you might end up seeing your two operating systems to choose from on startup. The Operating System choices will be shown with the primary OS on top and a choice to make your pick for the operating system within 30 seconds. After being accustomed to having your computer boot up automatically for so long, having to manually pick your OS mainly if the operating system you use is the bottom choice maybe a real hassle. Below I’ve described how you can automate your startup back to how it was.

pretty good tip. you can also modify the boot.ini by going to the command prompt and type BOOT.INI to make the boot.ini file come up, the you can edit the dual-boot problem from there too. just set the time to 0 will do it.

Wow, this tips exactly what i am looking for. After reinstalling windows because f**king virus, I found that there were 2 OS in start up. I thought that my computer still injected by virus.

great tip! i really dont know that you can correct this error with some option in windows. What i usually do is reinstall the windows after formatting the hard disk as this option piss me off

i have WIN 7 on both the drives an dont know which one to select while changing the properties.. i usually select the second one while booting as 1st one is already deleted.. plz suggest..
