I am a big fan of StumbleUpon, it pretty much gives you a view of the web that Google or any other search engine or service never could, keeping it short, the web’s a lot more interesting with StumbleUpon, I haven’t really talked much about StumbleUpon here on Computer Realm so I think I’ll cover more on it later, for now let’s cut the crap and get to the point.
A few days back I logged into my site stats to find the chart showing me the finger (apparently)! Looking at the referrals, it was none other than StumbleUpon that caused it. StumbleUpon is known to drive massive traffic and give us bloggers and webmasters (short lived) happiness with the massive spikes, I’ve had a few mini spikes from StumbleUpon before but it wasn’t really a landslide or anything, this time around, while it still can get better (around 1000+ visits) comparatively to the potential it has based on other bloggers’ experience, I guess it’s a start.
Oh, and if you are curious which post got ‘hit’, it was the list (<sarcasm>who would have guessed</sarcasm>) post on 10 signs to determine if you are infected with viruses or spyware.
