Until now Computer Realm was hosted under the GoDaddy Economy hosting package. After almost a year, I figured it’s time to move to a more durable and stable option so I’ve switched to Media Temple’s Grid Server hosting. Four times the price but i guess it’s worth it.
First impressions have been pretty good. My server was instantly ready as their order page promises, FTP is way faster than GoDaddy and support is great as well, received a response for an issue I had in around 20 minutes. I’ll post a complete review after a few months on my experience with MediaTemple.
And I believe Computer Realm is in good company, Techcrunch, Sony and Adobe to name a few who host their websites with MediaTemple.

Are you still on the Media Temple servers? I’m in a similar situation, I use WordPress now and It’s been rather slow, I’ve heard a lot of mixed opinions on Media Temple. So I’m just wondering if you’re on Media Temple still, since your website does load quickly, if not on Media Temple what host?

I switched to Hostgator’s shared hosting package but I have no complains about mediatemple. If you are going to be expecting spikes of traffic from social bookmarking/networking websites I suggest you choose mediatemple otherwise Hostgator would be good enough (and a little cheaper too). Thanks for the comment.
