Looking for Free Software?

Been a while since I posted, this has partly been since I was busy and also since I’ve been working on a new website. I just launched Freeware Realm a few days back. Here, you will find listings of freeware products from all operating systems. I’m a big fan of software, freeware mainly so I thought I’ll showcase all the great freeware that I come across in Freeware Realm.

If you visit the site now it’s not too impressive, I am still indexing the popular freeware. However I plan to make it the largest freeware directory online complete with detailed reviews and user ratings of all software which would be driven by community as well as myself. You can help out by subscribing to the Freeware Realm feeds, I can assure you in time you will be directed towards great freeware you never knew existed, so what are you waiting for? First thing I checked on the new site is rating module. Without any rating even best software can be missed. Are you looking to build something like download.com or tucows?

Hello, somehow i missed this comment, sorry about that, maybe at the time you checked no rating system was incorporated, however now the rating feature is available.

The best way to get free software in via torrents or just Google “open source” and the what you are looking for. It’s amazing how many open source products are out there.

Freewares are good. But it do have limited use. In fairness to you. You will be doing a great job, specially to those who wants to try before buy. Thumbs up dude!

I too am a big fan of free software. I especially like small pieces of software, which are portable, and which focus on doing one thing quickly and efficiently.

freeware-realm.net is a nice and helpful website.
Freeware is cool, but I afraid for unknown/new freeware is there any possibility there is malware attach on the software?

I’ve been using some forums to acquire some freewares, but i found your site ‘freeware realm’ really useful. What’s really good about it is that you have description for each freeware, and you even take the time to include some screenshots.
