How to Customize Your Comment Icon

Ever left a comment on a blog? If you haven’t and you are reading this you are one undeserving freeloader, get off my blog! But seriously, leave comments on blogs, it shows appreciation to the blogger. Well, you might have noticed comments left on blogs to have custom thumbnails however no option to display a custom icon maybe provided in the comment form.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Gravatars. Gravatars as the official site describes it are ‘globally recognized avatars’ and there is no easier way to put it. Gravatars are email specific and allows you to customize an avatar at gravatar.com. From the same guys that bring you WordPress, Gravatars have been incorporated into several other online services as well.

Head over to gravatar.com and get yourself a customized icon for your comments.

Hey bro,

do you know how I can show “add comment” when the comment count is 0, instead of showing “0 comments”

I mean this is what appear on homepage post.
