ok, since ive been following Computer Realm for a while, and am actually a big fan with the great posts i thought i'll start things off in this forum. I am looking to purchase an antivirus now that my pc is pretty much crashed with all the malware, i've heard great things about kaspersky and nod32, about the others i am not too sure, i'd like some advice on whether kaspersky or nod32 is better out of the two, or your personal recommendation of course.

I think you got it right with the best two antivirus options, kaspersky and nod32 are definitely the best in the market, i'd say go with Kaspersky, i've used both software extensively and i'd say kaspersky has a higher detection rate.

Hello

I have been using Kaspersky 2009 for about one year now and find this a great Anti Virus tool, I love the fact that it tells you when your programmes are out dated and what kind of security issues they have.
