Deciding the best web browser is pretty hard nowadays and most people don’t really bother of what browser they use as long as they can surf the net and download files without a hassle. But since most browsers (including the best ones) are free it doesn’t hurt to use the best one.
It doesn’t help to decide which browser is best with each one of them claiming to be ‘faster than ever before’, privacy guaranteed and efficient.
With the three frontline browsers being Internet explorer 7, Opera and Mozilla’s firefox, deciding the top browser out of the three is not very easy. While Firefox maybe the most ‘visible’ browser on the web with banners, and recommendations from various people IE7 seems to be used more extensively. Opera stands somewhere in between. The fact that IE7 is still most used would be surprising, surfing with IE7 or opera, sooner or later you would come across a website saying we recommend you switch to Firefox.
While in most cases software that are most ‘visible’ aren’t the best
in this case Mozilla Firefox would be the best.
for firefox to be best as mentioned above it should be fastest, most efficient, and safest and it is just that. The difference is speed would rarely be noticed with a broadband connection, but trying the three browsers on a narrow band 56k dial up modem, firefox proved to be fastest after loading a few high content pages on all three browsers, opera being the second and IE7 finishing third.
When it comes to privacy firefox allows you to delete all private data in one click and delete them when exiting the browser as an option. Also PortableApps has designed a portable version of firefox including the special U3 version of firefox so you can store your bookmarks, save passwords and carry it wherever you go and use them on a shared computer without worrying about deleting private data when you leave.
Also with its package it provides many plug-ins which allows you to add many new features like a download manager using downthemall, or maybe just something simple like colorfultabs where each tab would be a different color as you open them.
So Firefox is best after all.
When it comes to best web interface Opera would be best with its different type of buttons & fonts it provides, unfortunately it falls second with its lack of compatibility with the far too many sites.
You can try firefox from the Firefox Homepage
